Bag of Ricotta & Spinach Ravioli from Trader Joe's
Trader Giotto's Ricotta & Spinach Ravioli from Trader Joe's

A package of this ricotta and spinach ravioli from Trader Joe's was kept in the freezer (since the package says to keep it frozen), and when I opened the package I noticed there was a lot of ice inside.

When I cooked it, I followed the microwave instructions and heated it up for a total of 7 minutes.

The tomato sauce just tasted like an average tomato and garlic sauce, but it was a little bit watery (probably due to that ice). The inside of the ravioli had a neutral taste (not a strong cheese or spinach taste), which was OK with me.

Although it was a little bit watery, it was still good enough that I was able to eat the whole thing.

Box of Reser's Rigatoni Bolognese with Beef and Italian Sausage
Cooked Reser's Rigatoni Bolognese with Beef and Italian Sausage

I saw a box of this three cheese rigatoni bolognese pasta dinner, and I thought that it looked and sounded pretty good.

I cooked the rigatoni bolognese pasta by just following the microwave instructions. The pasta smelled kind of weird when I took it out of the microwave, and I was hoping it would taste better than it smelled.

The pasta noodle (rigatoni) was fine and didn't seem mushy or undercooked. The meat sauce was a little sweet and tasted like parmesan cheese that has had its flavors artificially preserved. The sauce with the cheese and beef had a very mushy texture. The overall taste of the pasta sauce and cheese seemed maybe OK at first, but after a few more bites it started tasting gross, and it just got worse the more I ate.

Box of Three Meat DiGiorno Pizza & Wyngz
Three Meat DiGiorno Pizza & Wyngz Packaging
Cooked Three Meat DiGiorno Pizza
DiGiorno Honey BBQ Wyngz

I tried a frozen DiGiorno three meat pizza that came with a side of honey BBQ chicken wings ("wyngz"). When you open the box, there are three packages -- one with the pizza, one with the wyngz, and one with the wyngz sauce.

I followed the instructions on the box for cooking both the pizza and chicken at the same time. The pizza came out looking fine. The pizza sauce was a smooth sauce, and it was kind of bland and salty. The pepperonis on the pizza were also a little too salty. The crust was a OK - it was a thick, soft crust, and it was a little bit sweet.

DiGiorno Boneless Wyngz in Honey BBQ sauce

There were only six "wyngz", and they were very dry on the inside. The breading on the chicken was also very thick and not crispy, and they didn't taste that great. The honey BBQ sauce was OK and tasted very sweet like other honey BBQ sauces. I dipped the chicken in the honey BBQ sauce rather than pouring the sauce on top since it would have probably been overwhelmingly sweet if I poured the sauce on top.

Does DiGiornos pizza taste like a delivery pizza? No, it definitely tastes like a frozen pizza, and it doesn't even taste like a crappy delivery pizza.
