I had some Tiger Thai Udon noodles from Costco as a snack.

Tiger Thai Udon Noodle Soup

The texture of the noodles was good, and they had the usual slippery and thick texture.

The soup was OK, and it tasted a little bit like fish sauce, but it was not great. I did not like the tempura shrimp crumbles in the soup at all. The next time I have some, I will definitely not put them in the soup. One thing I did like was the different little packets that everything comes in.

REVIEW – Beef Tenderloin Wrapped in Uncured Bacon from Trader Joe’s

Trader Joe's Beef Tenderloin Wrapped in Bacon

I tried some of Trader Joe's bacon wrapped beef tenderloin, and it was delicious.

I cooked it up in a toaster oven, rather than a conventional oven. I still followed the directions on the box, cooking it for approx 15 minutes on 475 degrees. This did result in the sticks getting a little burnt, but the steak was fine.

The bacon on the outside was a little chewy and stringy (which I didn't mind), and the bacon taste mixed with the peppery, salty seasoning on the steak was very nice, especially when you're in the mood for eating something salty.

Update (2013): Unfortunately, I don't see these any more.. I think they were discontinued. :(

REVIEW – Taco Bell: Soft Taco

Taco Bell Soft Taco

I had some soft tacos from Taco Bell for dinner.

The tortillas were nice and soft, and they tasted good. The tortillas weren't sour like the ones that they often sell at grocery stores, and the tortillas weren't dry, either.

The cheese, lettuce, and beef on the inside of the taco was OK; the beef tasted good and had a savory taco seasoning taste, but the beef was a little mushy.
