Burger King Mocha Frappe and Tropical Mango Smoothie

The Tropical Mango Smoothie at Burger King was delicious. It had a nice mango taste and was refreshing. I really liked the texture of the ice in the smoothie.

The Mocha Frappe at Burger King was also delicious, and I don't really like coffee. It was very chocolatey - kind of like a chocolate milkshake with a little bit of a coffee taste. My boyfriend was hoping that there would be more of the coffee and was a little disappointed (which is probably why I liked it), but he still thought it tasted pretty good.

The new chicken strips at Burger King were very good. I thought they weren't as dry as McDonald's chicken strips and weren't overly salty. They kind of tasted like the popcorn chicken at Sonic but in chicken strips form.

I had never had a hamburger from Burger King before and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered a hamburger (not a whopper) with just pickles, and it tasted good. I liked that it was more dry and didn't feel super greasy like the burgers at McDonald's. I also liked the bread; it wasn't mushy like many other burgers I have had.

Shanghai Angus Steak from Panda Express

I tried the Shanghai Angus Steak from Panda Express and didn't really like it. It had nice, large pieces of beef that were fairly tender, but it tasted like a slightly tangy beef stew and some of the pieces were a little too chewy. You had to pay an extra dollar since the Shanghai Angus steak is considered a "premium item", and it wasn't really worth it. For an extra dollar, I'd much rather get their Honey Walnut Shrimp.

Panda Super Buffet plate

We tried the Asian buffet at Panda Super Buffet in Tucson, AZ.

At first glance, the food looked very greasy, and there were mussels and salmon with orange cheese slabs melted over them (which I did not try due to how disgusting they looked). Some of the chicken that I had was cold, while other pieces of the same chicken were warm. The mongolian beef was dry and the texture of the sushi rice was mush. The string beans I had were limp, and many still had their stems. The spring roll I had was very mushy on the inside. The potsticker I had was also very mushy, and it fell apart as soon as I put my fork in it. The only dishes that seemed to be OK were the lo mein and mei fun noodles.

Overall, this buffet was not very good at all.

Update: Not surprisingly, this restaurant is now closed...
