Naked Mighty Mango Smoothie Drink

I don't really like juices, but my boyfriend had got some of the Naked Mighty Mango Smoothie from Costco so I tried some.

To my surprise, I actually thought it was pretty good. I love mango, so I was happy to be able to taste a little bit of mango. Besides the mango, the I also tasted orange. Mango and orange is pretty much the best combination for me when it comes to juices.

I also liked the thicker consistency (compared to other juices I have had).

Since I generally don't like juices, actually finding a juice (or juice-like) drink that I liked was the best part!

Box of Don Miguel Flautas from Costco
Don Miguel Flautas

Although the box says to refrigerate these chipotle flautas, we tried freezing them so they would last longer.

The flautas have chipotle seasoned chicken inside of a nice flour tortilla. The chicken has a light, somewhat salty chipotle taste. My favorite part is the tortilla. Even though the box says the tortilla is crispy, the tortillas are actually pretty soft after warming them up in the microwave. The only crispy parts are the ends of the flauta.

Even though there is sauce on the chicken, the chicken can still get dry very quickly, especially if you microwave one flauta for more than one minute or two flautas for more than two minutes (if they are warmed up from frozen). However, they are still a nice, quick food to have on hand.

Box of Kirkland Signature Pepperoni Pizza
Kirkland Signature Pepperoni Pizza

When I went to visit my dad this past weekend, we tried Costco's frozen Kirkland Signature Pepperoni Pizza because that was pretty much the only edible food in his house.

Although the box didn't say to put the pizza on a baking sheet or anything when placed in the oven, we decided we didn't want to put the pizza directly on the oven rack, so we put aluminum foil underneath it. Unfortunately, the aluminum foil bent under the weight of the thawing pizza and allowed the oils to seep out into the oven, resulting in lots of smoke and setting off the smoke detector.

So the next time we cooked another pizza (which happened to be the next day... since there was still nothing else edible at my dad's house) we were sure to put a baking sheet under the foil to make the pizza stay rigid so that the oils wouldn't seep out.

Both times we cooked the pizza, the pizza turned out pretty much the same. The second time it was more oily so we had to pat the top of the pizza down with paper towels to remove some of the oils, but it was still fine.

The frozen pizza tasted pretty good. It wasn't one of those disgustingly sweet frozen pizzas that I have had in the past. And I also really loved the little pepperoni bits!
